Certainly there are common threads for why being Catholic is such an important part of the lives of more than 1 billion people around the world and more than 320,000 in the Diocese of Toledo. Not to mention the 645 people from across the 19-county diocese who became new members of the Catholic Church earlier this year.

Some cite the structure of the Mass and a sense of tradition. Some love the community involvement. Some love feeling so close to Christ. Some love the common bond and support they feel from those with shared beliefs.

Regardless, there is something indescribeable about the confidence, faith, joy and trust people have in Christ, that someday they will be welcomed into heaven and experience the overwhelming beauty of His love. Knowing that no matter what happens in our daily lives, Christ will always love us and give us His grace, guidance and support.
